What everyone wants to know - Is it still safe to stick to our normal routines like getting dental cleanings?

In short, the answer (for now) is YES!

Your team at Thurston Comprehensive Dental Center continues to monitor the current situation. We will maintain normal business hours of operation for our amazing patients while continuing to address your dental needs.

We always follow universal precautions for every patient, every day, no exceptions!

  • Our instruments are thoroughly sterilized. Every instrument we use is run through a state of art disinfection machine, like a fancy dishwasher, wrapped and then autoclave. These procedures ensure that no debris or spore can survive.
  • Instruments are kept wrapped until we set up your room. This ensures that airborne microbes cannot settle on them while waiting to be used.
  • We use disposable waterproof barriers on all possible surfaces. That’s why we place a plastic bag over the chairs, for example. This eliminates the possibilities for microbes to come in contact with surfaces in our office.
  • Our rooms are thoroughly sanitized between each patient. Even those areas with barriers are stripped and sanitized. We use the strongest possible disinfectant cleaners on all surfaces between each patient. We use two disinfectant wipes—one to remove debris, and the other to apply more disinfectant. All surfaces in the office are sprayed to ensure complete coverage. The disinfectant products sit for the required kill time before resetting the room.

Additionally our staff uses OSHA approved PPE, i.e gloves, masks glasses, sheilds etc....

Team members are also encouraged to stay at home when sick.

So, rest assured it is safe to come see us, but please read over the following and If ANY OF THESE apply to YOU OR ANYONE YOU HAVE BEEN IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH please contact our office at 863-967-7548 to discuss your appointment as soon as possible:
